Hardcore, Punk, and Hip-Hop visionaries Beastie Boys' founding member Adam Yauch, aka MCA, passed away yesterday after losing his battle with cancer.

Tributes came pouring in immediatly from shocked fans, and the music industry alike, and the sincerity and number of them is a testament to the man himself.
MCA was a man who influenced, and inspired everything he touched: He campaigned relentlessly for peace and justice consciousness across the world.
Adam Yauch was a forward-thinking, innovative songwriter and performer as well as a film-maker. He was a passionate defender of the Free Tibet movement: Something he championed and supported to the end.

Music, and the world, has lost an incredible person: His passion, compassion, spirit, and inspiring nature will live on forever through his music, and legacy.
