The King Blues.

This trio are fast becoming one of my favorite bands. Not usually my cup of tea, and I will admit when I first heard them I wasn't that impressed and was far from in a hurry to listen to them again. However, I have since seen them live and was hooked and haven't looked back. They're different, and their lyrics have real meaning and depth. Look, if you don't like punk, then you won't like them but if you like listening to original and creative music then give 'em a go.
Their new album Punk & Poetry does exactly what it says on the tin; it's punky and poetic (funny that eh?) and my personal fave track is "we are fucking angry". Frontman Itch's voice has a very unique, and kinda appealing tone to it that delivers the band's message with passion and purpose (coulda even called the album that!) If you're already a fan then you will appreciate the direction this band are travelling in but if you're not familiar with them already, then I suggest listening to them from the beginning, album one, and enjoy and embrace it. 
My day always gets a little better when 'headbutt' pops up on my iPod. Happy listening....
